Beautiful authentique holiday home nearby Évora in the region Alentejo. This unique 200-year-old house is the manor house of the Herdade Outeiro de Esquila Estate. For already more than 30 years this privately owned Estate of 300 hectares is in the hands of the Van Beuningen family. The house has been totally renovated in 2009 and now offers you all possible comfort like a beautiful dining room, a large living room, separate playing table and one master bedroom with ensuite bathroom which has its own direct access to the terrace and swimming pool. This semi-detached holiday home offers plenty of outside space: large terraces, lawns, flower gardens, fruit tree orchards, exterior kitchen and an outside swimming pool (shared with three other holiday homes). The estate is located on top of a hill in the middle of the vast landscapes of the Alentejo but only 12km from the ancient World Heritage city of Évora. At the estate there is also a big vineyard with an active winery producing top Portuguese wines and fully equipped with a separate tasting area for guests. Moreover enjoy the beautiful estate cork forests, olive orchards and the amazing views across the great planes. When standing on the roof terrace you can enjoy the 30km views in all directions. At the estate there are beautiful walking tracks to enjoy the local flora and fauna but is also very nice for cycling tours. You can make nice daily trips, for example to the Saturday morning market at the nearby picturesque city of Estremoz. You can also easily go to the beach or to Lisbon, which is only an hour’s drive.
