This semi-detached holiday home is located in Longueira in the Parque Natural do Sudoeste Alentejano nature park, about 2 km from the beach. The holiday home is nicely furnished and consists of 2 floors, with the bedrooms on the second floor which have balconies. On the back side of the house there is a terrace with garden furniture where you can relax and enjoy in the summer months. There is also a barbeque if youd like to prepare a meal al fresco.
If you are looking for some refreshment on a warm day, you can be in the most beautiful resorts in Portugal in a few minutes in the car, such as Vila Nova de Milfontes or in the former fishing village of Zambujeira do Mar (about 12 km). There are various sporting activities in the area, and you can visit the old cities and villages and the coast with its beautiful sandy beaches.
Culture lovers should visit Sines (circa 40 km), the birthplace of the explorer Vasco da Gama. There is also an annual world music festival in the castle of Sines, which is built against a cliff.

If you are looking for beautiful beaches, you have come to the right place! Longueira is only 2 kms away from beach of Almograve one of the many beautiful stretches of sand along this coastline. Falling within the protected beauty of the Sudoeste Alentejano and Costa Vicentina Natural Park, Praia do Almograve attracts body boarders and surfers. The beach is calm, clean and rarely crowded. There is parking nearby and the beach is supervised during the bathing season. The average seawater temperature in summer is 18-19ºC. Towards the inland, the rural landscape offers bucolic extensions of green where herds of animals graze freely.On foot, by bycicle or by car, there are many tracks that will lead you through the pastures or by the cliffs, observing the stork nests in the slopes. Half way between watching the cattle grazing and the seagulls flying slowly over the cliffs, take the risk and go down to the secret Nascedios beach (Longueira).The house is an excellent starting point to get to know the best that Costa Vicentina and the Sudoeste Alentejano have to offer. You have many good choices:Sines, Porto Covo, Vila Nova de Milfontes, Zambujeira do Mar, Odemira, Arrifana, Odeceixe, Aljezur …).Longueira/ Almograve have a long natural border with the sea, being a true paradise for those who love nature in its purest forms.
Fishing is the livelihood of many people in the region and there are many fishing harbours painting the coast with the colours of their boats. There are nice and typical restaurants where you can enjoy the fresh fish and shellfish that have just been caught.
