This semi-detached holiday home is located on a restored farm in Lavre, near the city of Montemor-o-Novo, in the province of Alentejo. The holiday home is in a rural location on a 6 hectares property amidst the old cork trees, olive trees and fruit trees. The Flemish owners have built four holiday homes here, one of which they occupy themselves, and the others are let out. Each holiday home has its own terrace and barbecue. The holiday home is simply decorated and has all of the basic facilities. You will fully relax here! Read one of the books on site, play billiards or a board game in the recreation room. There is a swimming pool in the garden with a separate childrens area with a fountain and a petanque pitch which is shared with the other guests.
The centre of the village of Lavre is approx. 4km. away. The city of Montemor-o-Novo, with shops, restaurants and bars is 15 km away. You can hike, cycle and horseback ride in the immediate vicinity. The west coast is approx. 80 km away, ideal for surfers, with its frequent high waves. A visit to the city of Lisbon (approx. 95 km) and the Unesco World Heritage city of Évora (approx. 40km) is certainly worth the effort.
