The castle used to be the cradle of the great "Carlistic guerillas" Rafel Tristany and the bischop Mossèn Benet. Next to the castle you will find a XV century chapel consecrated to the H.Franciscus of Assisi. The castle is very peacefully situated at about 100 km. from Barcelona. There is a forest with hiking paths approx. 500 m. from the castle. Nice rural views. Skiing in Port del Comte on 50 km.
