Die Umgebung:
Cazalilla ist ein kleiner, sehr ruhiger Ort mit ca. 800 EW, aber mit Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants, Arzt und Apotheke. In nächster Nähe erreichen Sie Andújar am Tor zum Naturpark "Sierra de Andújar", 60.000 h gross mit 4 Stauseen, grossem Wildbestand und vielen Ausflugsmöglichkeiten. 30 km entfernt liegt Jaén mit den "Arabischen Bädern", der berühmten Burg Santa Catalina und der Kathedrale, etwas weiter die Renaissancestädte Úbeda und Baeza, die zum Unesco-Weltkulturerbe gehören.
Auch Córdoba und Granada sind nur jeweils 1 Autostunde entfernt.
Freitzeitmöglichkeiten:
Sie können gleich vor der Tür durch Olivenhaine wandern, ganz in der Nähe in Sierra Morena Wild und Stiere beobachten. Ausflüge zu Pferde, Reitunterricht und Kutschfahrten können organisiert werden.
Selbst das grosse Skigebiet in Sierra Nevada liegt nur 1 1/2 Std. entfernt.
Zu kulturellen Besuchen bieten sich Úbeda, Baeza, Jaén, Córdoba und Granada an.
